Job Preparation Committee: Work collectively & individually with AWD members to help improve member resumes, cover letters, CVs, and/or business plans. This work is often completed in preparation for a new job application.  This committee also conducts interview prep and mock interviews with AWD Members.  Chair: Terrell Golden, AAMS

Member Development Committee: Work with the executive committee to develop in-house member development content including but not limited to: Zoom workshops, conference calls, individual mentoring and more.  Review, edit, and approve all outside member development content offered by sponsors and 3rd party content providers.  Chair: Keon Scott, CRPC

Member Outreach Committee: Actively seek out AWD Members who are not yet fully aware of their community (AWD), at your firm and elsewhere, via all available resources (social media, personal & professional networks, Google, etc.). Ensure all members are privy to our ongoing communication via our private LinkedIn group and connected to their website resources.  Chair: Victor Howell, CAIA

Academic Outreach Committee: Operate the bi-annual AWD Wholesaler Development Program™ (WDP) student training initiative. Solicit and establish relationships with college, high school and elementary education organizations in black communities nationwide (and in your local area) to facilitate AWD Campus Visits to black students and others regarding the role of wholesaling in our industry and to provide first steps to those individuals sincerely interested in learning more about financial services wholesaling. Encourage AWD Member Alma Mater outreach. Chair: Ron Williams, ChFC

DE&I Committee: Develop content and talking points for DE&I outreach to sponsors and industry organizations on behalf of AWD. Assist in the collection and collation of member stories for use in AWD DE&I engagement industry-wide  Other duties as assigned.  Chair: OPEN
